This leaflet has been written for anyone who has lobular neoplasia, which describes a range of benign (non-cancerous) changes within the breast lobules including atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH) and lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS).

This publication explains what causes lobular neoplasia, how the changes are confirmed and what treatment or follow-up may be required.
